More Savings!

This will probably be my last blog for a while about all of the great shopping deals one can currently find, until after Christmas, when I hear sales will get even better (if you can believe ). So, one more time, in the spirit of savings, I want to share with you my recommendations of the best places to go to get great deals.

1. Barneys New York: Barneys is having a great sale with merchandise discounted up to 70% off. I found a cute little Lanvin black satin handbag for $599 (original price $1,390), quite a few Diane Von Furstenburg dresses for around $100, a gorgeous Doo Ri dress about 60% off and Splendid and C&C California tank tops for under $30. I recommend checking out the sale as soon as possible as quantities are running out fast. If there is no Barneys in your area, don't worry. 2. Shopbop: Aside from Saks, this sale is probably my favorite. Not only are designer items discounted at up to %70 off, but the site doesn't charge you for tax or shipping, which saves even more money! Be aware, that all sale items on this site are final, so make sure you love it before you buy it, because there are no returns (I found this out the hard way). I purchased a really great Love Yaya double breasted fleece jacket for $66 (original price $220). The site is also selling some great Cynthia Vincent dresses at very affordable prices. Go to http://www.shopbop.com/ to visit the sale.


3. Not only is Chickdowntown, having a sale, but currently they are giving shoppers 40% off any original priced item that they buy, and an additional 25% off of sale items, so essentially, the entire site is on sale! This is the only place I've been able to find so far where you can get boyfriend jeans on sale. Chickdowntown has a ridiculous number of designers that they sell, so there's really great selection. 4. Bluefly is currently selling product for an extra 65% off. You can definitely find some good discounted merchandise on this site, but be warned that you will have to weed through a bunch of random stuff, to get to the good items. If you're up for the challenge, it may be worth it. Go to http://www.bluefly.com/ to check out the sale.


5. Lastly, if you're looking for a specific item or trying to figure out where to go to get it for the best price, I would recommend taking a look at stylefeeder.com. It's a search engine, sorta like google for clothing. You type in the item you're looking for and it will tell you where to get it for the cheapest.

*One last random note: If you're wondering about the significance of the bag pictured above, It's the handbag that I wanted so badly, that was on sale for on $100, that sold out before I could buy it. I'm still trying to get over the blow :( Anyways, happy shopping everyone!
