More Resort

Temperly: I was very impressed with Alice Temperly's resort collection. The collection was mostly comprised of pretty, brightly colored pieces and some really amazing prints.

Alexander Wang: I'm a big fan of Alexander Wang. I especially love the way he interprets the menswear trend, ensuring that the pieces are still fun and feminine. I also adore his dresses and skirts. While their weren't too many of these in this collection, I am not disappointed because I completely fell in love with the black and white cocktail frock featured below. The design of this dress is so unique, that the more I look at it the more I love it.

Brian Reyes: For the whole of his career, Brian Reyes has been exceptional at creating clothing that manages to be feminine, refined, and modern at the same time. This collection was no different. My absolute favorite pieces are the beautiful draped skirts done in a variety of fantastic prints and a gorgeous bright blue.

ADAM: My favorite of the ADAM resort collection is this cream colored boyfriend blazer seen below with black loosely fitted shorts. Also shown was a denim trench worn over leggings and a really amazing rope braided skirt paired with a white tee.

Resort 2010

A look at Resort 2010 thus far. More to come.

Bottega Veneta: I love how Tomas Maier used color in this collection. From gorgeous rich browns, the vibrant cranberry, and kelly green shades, the Bottega Veneta Resort collection covered the spectrum.

Zac Posen: Zac Posen certainly didn't disappoint. The clothes were very chic, yet wearable, and as always, he added a few show stopping gowns.

Chanel: Karl Lagerfeld used a vintage nautical vibe as inspiration for his Resort collection. The show actually seemed like a nod to Coco herself.

Vena Cava: Designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai kept it cool and sexy as usual.

Rachel Roy: Rachel Roy's collection was another in which I thought color was used very well. Roy mixed and matched bright, fun colors flawlessly. The result was a collection that looked chic, yet undeniably beachy.

Oscar de la Renta makes some of the most beautiful dresses in the business. His Resort collection was chic and feminine, as would be expected. I especially love the gorgeous deep plum hue that was shown throughout.
